HGC is a member of the USGBC with LEED Accredited Professionals overseeing each construction job. We are a leader in providing knowledge, materials, and workmanship for LEED-certified projects already completed in the Cincinnati Tristate region.
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s Historic Vine Street Village—awarded LEED Platinum certification. Project includes multiple buildings, walkways, and gardens over two acres and includes a geothermal climate system. The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden Transit Pavilion—awarded LEED Gold certification. The Transit Pavilion is part of the zoo’s innovative entry system. The new Gift Shop—also awarded LEED Gold certification
- Zoo Gift shop—awarded LEED Gold certification.
- The Lofts of Mottainai—awarded LEED Silver certification. This is the first LEED Silver condominium complex in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine inner-city neighborhood. The project consists of eight sleek loft condominiums created in two four-story, 100-year-old buildings located at 1222-1224 Republic Street.
- Emersion Design offices—awarded LEED Platinum certification for interior construction. Emersion Design is an architecture and engineering firm located in the Hamilton County Business Center, at 1775 Mentor Avenue, Norwood, Ohio.
- Cincinnati Zoo's Harold C. Schott Education Center –awarded LEED Silver certification. The Education Center won the “People in Community” award, one of the top three award divisions of the Green Business Awards.
