
The Saengerhalle development (named for a venue that preceded Music Hall) is at the northeast corner of Race and 14th streets in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Work involved the renovation of three attached historic structures and construction of an addition that introduces more than 32,000 SF of office and restaurant space to the neighborhood.
The new addition includes a new steel structure with three floors tying into the rear of the existing buildings. The renovation of the existing buildings included complete removal of hte interior with new layouts to provide accomodations for several future tenants. Developers for the project were Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC) and the NorthPointe Group. Architect was Kurt Platte Architects, LLC.
