August 22, 2007, Cincinnati, Ohio – HGC Construction has recently completed construction of the Duncanson Lofts Condominiums. This project is part of the Gateway Quarter neighborhood in Over the Rhine (www.gatewayquarter.com).
The project included the complete exterior restoration and interior renovation of six historical buildings into 25 new urban living lofts and 11,065 SF of retail space.
The units include one and two bedrooms loft style condominiums, and feature beautiful hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, gorgeous bay windows, solid wood cabinetry and gourmet kitchens.
HGC also completed the tenant fit out for Metronation, a contemporary home furnishing, accessories & gift store, located at 1213 Vine Street, one of the retail spaces.
The architect for the project was Mark Gunther of Wichman Gunther Architects.
Prior to completing the Duncanson Lofts project, HGC also completed the Gateway Arts development located at 1133-35 Vine Street (Old Bank Street Café) which included converting two buildings into 12 loft style apartments for Cincinnati Art Academy students. The project also included the construction of three commercial retail spaces on the first floor that are occupied by the Gateway Quarter Information Center, City Roots Urban Garden store and an insurance agency.
