February 2005 - HGC begins the $1.8 million renovation of the 100-year-old Carnegie Center building in Covington, Kentucky. The project’s scope includes major replastering throughout the theatre, carpeting the existing concrete floor, installing new seating, and painting the theatre. The renovation will provide the theatre a more modern feel while retaining its original architectural character. The Carnegie Center is one of the most prominent arts institutions in Northern Kentucky. Its exhibitions and educational programs serve more than 28,000 visitors and students annually. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2005.
