HGG Recieves OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Status
On February 26, 2008, HGC Construction received their Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star designation from OSHA. Since 1931, HGC Construction has had one of the longest-running track records among Cincinnati-based construction companies. Now, we're one of only five contractors in Ohio to have earned the status of being a member of OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).
This exclusive program rewards VPP status only to those companies demonstrating excellence in safety and health, as determined by a rigorous application process. VPP companies are committed to employee protection beyond the requirements of OSHA standards - with participants implementing comprehensive systems to reduce occupational hazards and prevent employee injuries and illnesses. As a result, the average VPP company has a lost workday incident rate at least 50% below the industry average.
This gives you the ultimate reassurance that your project will be completed quickly, efficiently and right on time - by a team of professionals operating at full strength. Plus, you'll have peace of mind knowing you're partnering with a company that upholds safety excellence as a way of life.
