This challenging job required extensive underpinning to create
a connecting structure between the main historic building and a
later addition. HGC served as the General Contractor to complete
the major renovation and reconfiguration of this historic building.
An elevator addition, set to the rear and side of the existing
structure’s property line, required neighboring site shoring
to excavate and complete the work. The formal opening of the building
drew statewide attention.
