Groton Building
Cincinnati, OH
HGC served as General Contractor on restoration of this historic
building. This building developed by Towne Properties sparked the “urban
loft lifestyle” that is leading the downtown housing development
in Cincinnati. The 1897 Renaissance Revival 7 story downtown office
building was converted into a 42 unit apartment building with a first
floor restaurant. Several key components to the success of the project
include the ability to salvage and repair all elements of the exterior
structure including the 100 year old windows. HGC received a preservation
award from the Cincinnati Preservation Association.
