31 January 2007
Welcome to the first issue of Onsite@Kilgour. Each month, HGC will publish this journal to update you on the progress of Kilgour's renovation and construction of its addition. You'll also get a behing-the-scenes view as work progresses.
The first step in making Kilgour first class Cincinnati Public School is renovation. The renovation of the existing building will return it to its historical state. The second step is addition. The new buidling addition will provide more space for students. We anticipate the finish date of this job for HGC to be April 2008. Between now and then, though, there's much to do before this $12 million project is complete.
The HGC team selected for this job is a group of true professionals. The lead project manager working out of the main office is Adam Kuehne. In the field assisting him with day-to-day operations are Bill Bromback and field superintendent Kris Ackley.
With the month of January at an end, we have made great progrss. Even though we ran into a few early road blocks, we have so far complete 80% of the demolition on the existing building. That's over a month ahead of schedule! Once demolition is complete, renovation will begin and ground breaking on the new building will take place.
Thanks for visiting this site. Please check back at the end of each month to get the latest update on our work at Kilgour.
